THE FRAGRANCE
Part of the Cinema collection
The last day of a condemned Danish court doctor, for a man who influenced society to be more open .” - Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren

ONE LAST BITE OF LIFE: What would you do if it were your last night on earth? For Johann Friedrich Struensee, doomed doctor of the Danish court, it meant a picnic with his love and their friends on the last night before his death. As always, champagne and figs, his favorite fruit, were on the menu, as dusk turned the sky purple. Joy and tears, sorrow and laughter, a bitter-sweet cocktail that lives on in this Purple Fig.

Realistic and lovely

This scent reminds me of the backyard in my old house. I smell the fig tree, from the trunk to the actual fig sap. It’s realistic and green and develops nicely on skin

Didn't love it

It's very green with very light florals. Doesn't have a prominent fig notes. Figfever from hermetica is so much better to me, imo, but also way more feminine.

Lovely

I’m a sucker for fig notes so of course I had to try this one out and was not disappointed. On first spray I actually didn’t like this one, super green like someone took a fig tree branch and smacked you with it. After a minute or two on me however it becomes such a warm, pretty scent that makes me want to go eat figs and honey on a picnic. My skin tends to pull any sweetness in a perfume straight to the front so I don’t get the overly spicy scent that a lot of other people seem to get, but if you want to tone the spice down and get a sweeter fig layer this with a vanilla lotion!
