Part of the Library Collection
Inspired by the omniscient allure of a library, this collection is a celebration of integrity, creativity and virtuosity a poetic homage to an olfactory exploration.
A joyous and crimson Damascus Rose set in a Frankincense Hyperabsolute mount, waves of Vanilla clashing against bitter splinters of Myrrh, nocturnal drops of Black Ink crashing against citrusy streaks of Elemi, Opus XII is a study of both Rose and Incense, pushing them each to unexplored territories and pulling out an uncompromisingly novel take on an otherwise classic accord.
Top: Elemi, olibanum (Frankincense) hyper absolute, black ink accord
Heart: Damascena rose water essential, seuderal, frankincense absolute
Base: Myrrh, vanilla, sandalwood, cedarwood
A man or woman can wear this and let me tell you.... Yummy. Not in a edible way but a pleasant at peace, fulfilling way. I love smelling this scent on myself and I bought a sample for my ex-husband and he loves the scent as well. I would say its not strong but it last long, its a warm, woodsy, cinnamon spice scent with rose. Just amazing, this is apart of my number 1 next to Atomic Rose by Initio. Its not sweet, its not masculine, its not feminine...it just is amazing. Very lovely fragrance and if you like a little rose note, then this would be for you.
Incense normally doesn't mix with my skin chemistry well. But here it is smooth and rich. Gorgeous rose, not jammy, not fresh, wine-like, substantive but not loud. Moderate sillage and longevity.
