Fig Infusion

Fig Infusion by Nathalie Lorson

Inspired by the light of a sunny day in the south of France, Nathalie Lorson has composed an optimistic and reassuring fragrance.

The top notes, a larger than life fig, is illuminated by a duo of juicy citrus mandarin and clementine.  The floral heart, composed of freesia and orange blossom, meets the aromatic breath of Sri Lankan black tea.  Finally, an enveloping wood accord, between the softness of Virginian cedarwood and the creaminess of sandalwood, provides comfort and refinement to the signature.  The voluptuous benzoin reinforces this cocooning accord with its balmy effects.

Mandarin, Fig, Black Tea, Orange blossom, Benzoin, Sandalwood

a pretty sharp, but unconventional citrus, fig, and sandalwood fragrance. it's pretty linear smelling on skin from first application to dry down. i saw people comparing this to le labo the noir 29 the day before this arrived, and they're partially right, but it's not as good, not as much depth, or longevity; which this fragrance is really lackluster in. felt pretty robbed when it's labeled eau de parfum, but has only a 17% concentration, and doesn't last nearly as long as even some of my eau de toilettes 💀 it's a good smell but the citrus is a little overpowering in my opinion. i paired this w my the noir 29 which is a woody aromatic fig, hay, incense, peach, vetiver, etc.. it's very complex and most times overwhelming for most situations, but the two together really mellow each other out and compliment really well!
