This fragrance had a great opening. It was not very long lasting, but I did enjoy the scent and I received a few compliments.

THE FRAGRANCE
Opening with sublime lavender, rosewoood, cinnamon and rare fruity accords. A touch of rose in the backbone of Alexandra ll enriches the lavender and deepens the rosewood. The Laotian oud brings a celestial meaning to this aromatic woody aura and echoes the excellent vanilla amber base.

Alexandria II is a very potent scent, it has such a variety of notes to it but blends so well together. I appreciate the blend and pick up lots of vanilla and dried fruit, the Lilly of the valley flower smell comes through and gives the scent something special. It also lasts very long on my skin, a few sprays goes a long way and I can understand the price point because even the smaller size can last a long time if you only need 2 to 3 sprays. Overall this is a fantastic smell that I make one of my favorites.

The two Samples I got were Xerjoff Alexandra 2and Intense Red Tobacco they both smell good though I would never by Xerjoff Alexandria 2 because it’s too expensive but it was still good to try a sample of it.

For my nose and quite a few people at my school found the scent for the first 3 hours to be horrible and unpleasant, overwhelming, the type of sent to make you wrinkle your nose and instantly back away, and with such a strong musk of rosewood it almost smells like rotting leather, after those 3 hours the spice notes come though for it to be tolerable, this fragrance is for a very specific group of noses, however it’s not for mine.
