SMOOTH, COCOONING, SENSUAL
14Hour Dream pays homage to the psychedelic generation who made pleasure its only god. The patchouli brings back memories of trips to Goa, an Indian paradise full of flowers and delightful scents that triggers all the senses. The vanilla has a pure cocooning effect, reminiscent of the communal love of the era.
Top: Saffron, vanilla flowers, ginger
Heart: Patchouli leaves, orris butter, black pepper abs
Base: Cedarwood, sandalwood, guaiac wood
14Hour Dream reminds me of Ani. To my nose, it doesn't have that grassy opening that Ani starts with, but it does have a similar woody caramel sweetness on the dry down. Instead this starts sweet like ice cream and then the sweetness gets less intense. I believe Ani does it better though. It's nice, but I'll probably just give this to my fiance. The performance on this is really good. It projects for hours and the wind carries this well. It has a nice smell in the air, but I don't think this smells that amazing. This also lasts a while on my skin. If you like how Ani smells, it isn't a bad scent to give a sniff.
It’s okay, a little to peppery for my taste. Could be blended better.
I really like this perfume, it smells wonderful. However, the staying power is very lacking for the price.
