Caring about the planet and its resources is more than a trend. We wanted to highlight our recently curated brands that value sustainability at its core and make it their mission to give back.

MAISON CRIVELLI

Maison Crivelli uses minimalist and eco-responsible packaging to reduce waste by producing boxes and cases using FSC paper and containing no plastics. The cellophane used to protect the perfumes is produced from wood cellulose, which is biodegradable and compostable. The main objectives are as follows:

          • • Perennial production
              • • Limiting soil depletion or deforestation
                • • Avoiding chemical fertilizers
              • • Maintaining a high level of quality

This approach led Thibaud Crivelli to support the Cœur de Forêt (Heart of the Forest) association and participate in the sustainable development of patchouli in Indonesia.

FRAGRANCE DU BOIS

Working closely with organic Oud oil producers in Asia, Fragrance Du Bois ethically sources the finest raw materials and creates sustainable products that give back to rural communities, fighting poverty and inequality. Through value-added manufacturing, which helps to revitalize local economies, the company is building a much-needed change. The brand promotes sustainable forestry to prevent the ruthless exploitation of rainforest areas by using only sustainably sourced and certified ingredients, raising awareness on the plight of Aquilaria trees (the source of Oud) in the wild, as well as the importance of CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species, an inter-government agreement) in protecting rare and endangered species.

HERMETICA

Hermetica paves a new way in making and experiencing perfumes; each fragrance uses green chemistry and is alcohol-free, long-lasting, moisturizing, cruelty-free, and refillable. The brand composes scents utilizing a mix of synthetic and natural molecules, free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehyde, phthalates, and mineral oils.
