Andrea Maack approaches scent design with a fresh vision and sees scent as a linear thing — traveling along your skin and through the air as a series of paint strokes splashed across a canvas. Taking pride in its Icelandic heritage and continuously drawing inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding us, Andrea Maack fragrances and bottle designs reflect Iceland's rugged and majestic landscape like no other. This brand is mystical, contemporary, and out of this world, like nothing you have experienced before.
"The idea of working with scent came about through a series of exhibitions I always envisioned only making one fragrance titled SMART (Smell Art), but after that show, I was hooked on this process and started working on scented installations full time. The brand came about when I was invited to host the opening show of a design gallery in downtown Reykjavík and I decided to do an art installation in the form of a “Andrea Maack perfume shop".
