”A lover's carnival on the moon - feelings worth reaching to the moon and back.” - Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren
LOVE TO THE MOON AND BACK: His love was a dancer whose golden skin held the scent of passion who loved tuberose more than any other flower. So he travelled the world in search of all the tuberose to fill the moon. For seven days and seven nights, the moon scattered this enchanting scent – pears, patchouli, ambroxan, orris and musk – across the universe.
A multifaceted tuberose
Top: Passionfruit, bergamot, pink freesia
Heart: Tuberose, gardenia, orchid
Base: Marshmallow, tonka bean, vanilla
My first impression of this scent was that I was fairly underwhelmed, but the more I wear it the more I love it. Even though it really is just a simple white floral, there is a powdery, almost musk undertone that really hooks me. I still think it’s overpriced for what it is, but the smaller size with a discount code made it worth while for me.
Smells very floral and there is no trace of marshmallow.
Not the fragrance for me, too much gardenia. The gardenia overpowered the other notes. I passed it on to a friend who enjoys it.
It is sweet and floral, just like a summer carnival! Definitely remaining a staple in my fragrance collection!
