The ultimate in cozy, Gris Charnel is the olfactive equivalent of a Sunday spent in bed with a cup of hot tea, alone (or not!).
Woody, spicy and powdery, Gris Charnel is inspired by a Parisian urban sensuality, which it expresses through sandalwood and vetiver. It is the scent of bodies entwined between white sheets until the early morning.

The labeling wasn't clear about which version each was. One Gris Chamel was the original, the other a spin off, both were labeled "Geis Chamel" only. Thexwhole point was to see which version I liked best.

On a positive note, I really liked all the samples, they were high quality.

Okay, I love the dry down of this scent but I hate the opening. It has a nice staying power but it wasn't what I was hoping it would be.

Didn't love it

Unfortunately the first sample I received had been damaged and coated everything else in my shipment and overpowered everything, and it took a couple of days to clear the scent from my hands and home! TL quickly sent a replacement, which I've set aside to revisit later. It's been a few weeks and I'm still not a fan of the overall fragrance but because of the written description's appeal, I'm hopeful I'll like it eventually! It's very strong/great longevity, if that's something you're looking for! A little bit goes a long way.
