NATURALIST- ELEGANT- SURPRISING-
“For a black -tie gala night last year in 2011, perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux, five other friends and myself all wore gardenia boutonniere’s on our tuxedo lapels. It was an exciting, happy night and there was much celebrating, laughing, dancing and smoking. Towards the end of the night I noticed my gardenia boutonniere was crushed from all the hugging and dancing...its bright white hue gave out an extremely saturated scent that mixed with the heady, damp and smoke-filled atmosphere. It was green and floral but extremely masculine and ‘naughty’. If there is one scent that connects me to all the excitement of 2011 it is definitely the scent of that night out, and the last breath of that delicious flower.” - CH
