Tango – Act III Scene 4
Masque Milano directs us to Act lll where romance, love, affection, and betrayals live. TANGO Act lll Scene IV as conceived by Perfumer Cecile Zarokian sets the stage for a highly complex and dramatic fragrance. Dark and sensual notes take on their own rhythm. The skin, a heartbeat, and the pulse of dance and music steer this fragrance to a Milonga where the anticipation of a close embrace hangs in the air. A peppery robust opening that bursts open and tickles under the nose. Cardamom is affectionately known as the “Fire of Venus,” and here it adds a resinous character allowing the fragrance to build intensity. Its heart notes of jasmine, rose and cumin make for a powerful statement that is a perfectly full-bodied accord of floral and spice. The base drips with an earthy sensuality, yet has a powdery sweetness. Variation and themes on vanilla, namely tonka, amber, benzoin move this fragrance toward gourmand tendencies-that is Tango speaks to a hunger and passion. Not for the timid.
