Demure yet intriguing, For Walks is a floral journey that evolves substantially on skin. Initially dewy and fresh, For Walks is a violet-tinged bubble that glints minty green as it hangs at the tip of a fir needle. The poised dewdrop descends, and lands on a bed of flowers; violet again, coupled with sweet boronia, colors the heart of this fragrance a vivid, pleasing purple. Solid yet buoyant, this amethyst garden absorbs and refracts light, so that every floating speck is caught in a lavender-periwinkle glow. While cedar, sandalwood and vetiver are flitting flecks, this illumination is defined by a thick rain of orris, a downy poudre that creates a comfortable, soft dry down. For Walks is a leisurely, wonderful wander through the classic terrain of purple florals. Spray for a stroll through the streets, the countryside…or your own imagination.

Inspiration: “As soon as the snow was melted but the soil still frozen, we took a walk into the forest where we heard the first larks chirp; we did this always. With expectation we looked forward to father’s birthday on April 22. To prepare for this, far ahead of time, we gathered moss, ivy, forest violets, crowfoot and anemones; the day before we wreathed everything in the house. And so the beautiful spring began for all of us.” – Memoir of EMMA BLOCKI (1872)
